2018 Seven A Side Summer Soccer Information

The 2018 seven-a-side competition will commence on Tuesday 9 October. There will be 9 weeks of games weather permitting. No finals will be played.

Depending on the numbers that register we are looking to run the following competitions:

  • Under 6 / Under 7 (this age group will run as 4 a side comp) 
  • Under 8 Tuesday
  • Under 9 Tuesday
  • Junior Sides (u10 - u18) 
  • Womens O35 
  • Senior Womens Div.1
  • Senior Mens
  • Senior Mens Social
  • Over 35s
  • Over 40s
  • Mixed Social (minimum of 3 females on field)

**Divisions will be made for age groups pending on number of teams.
**The above competitions are subject to nomination of teams. In the event that a full competition cannot be made teams will be contacted and moved into another competition.


games will take place on the following nights:


  • Under 6 - Under 9 - Tuesday night, 5:30 and 6:10pm
  • Mixed Social and Senior Women - Tuesday Night 7:00, 7:50, 8:30
  • Men's teams - Wednesday night  6:10, 7:00, 7:50, 8:30

** It is envisaged that up to two games may be lost due to inclement weather.  In this instance, games will not be rescheduled.  If further rounds are lost, measures will be taken to ensure player satisfaction.

Teams in the seven-a-side competition are made up of ten players with seven players on the field at any stage. Unlimited interchange is allowed during the games. Each game has two 20 minute halves with a five minute break for halftime.

It is recommended that teams in the 4-A-Side competition are made up of six players maximum with four players on the field at any stage.


The competition is open to all players who would like to play. We would encourage players to invite their friends to join their team for the competition.

 All Senior Registrations will only be accepted as a team. To guarantee a spot in our competition, a $250 non refundable deposit is required at time of registration. Balance of $750 will be due by September 30th, 2018.  Teams and individuals that have not paid in full prior to competition start will not be allowed to play or receive their team shirts.

 All teams, junior and senior, must wear the Tarragindi 7-a-side shirt when taking the field. Any player without the correct shirt will not be permitted to play. (In the event a whole team does not wear shirts, play may proceed, but points will be forfeited)

  • There is no insurance cover included in this cost. Individuals will have to source their own insurance if they should require insurance cover.
  • Each senior team is to have a manager responsible for the team and communication with club.
  • T-shirts will be issued on 1st game night only to those that have paid their fees.
  • All Payments are to be completed online.
  • At registration close date, September 7th, teams will be filled with individual players not already in teams - places will not be "kept" for players late in registering.
