2019 REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

Sign-on for Season 2019

Registrations for 2019 are now open.  Please ensure you navigate through each page of the registration process until you reach the checkout - team eligibility will only become available once fees have been paid in full, or a payment plan approved.  Once completed, you will be redirected to complete the FFA registration through PlayFootball.   This is a compulsory registration, however requires NO PAYMENT.

GETTING READY FOR REGISTRATION

The first step in your registration is to create a PlayFootball account.  PlayFootball is the new registration system for FFA and is required by ALL adult members of the club - parents, coaches, volunteers, committee members and senior players.

To create your account, simply visit:

www.PlayFootball.com.au

Navigate to the MyFootball tab at the top, then click on My Account in the top right hand corner.  Follow the instructions to complete the set up of your account.

Registrations will not be open until January 3rd, so no further action can be made until then.  (once registrations open, you can register your child, and link them to your account - they do not receive an account of their own.)

REGISTRATIONS - THE NEXT STEP

The registration process for 2019 is slightly different, due to the new FFA registration system.  Registrations will open January 3rd.  At this time, you will be invited to register through the Tarragindi Tigers website.  Here, you will complete your registration AND payment options.  At the end of the process, you will be directed to the new FFA system, PlayFootball. (You should have already created an account for yourself...if not, please see the instuctions above, in "Getting ready for registration".)

If registering a child, follow the registration process - DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENT, as all payments and payment plans are done through the Tarragindi registration.
Don't forget, as an adult member of the club, everyone requires registration - this include volunteers, coaches, managers, committee members.

An essential part of the process will be uploading a photo - registration will remain incomplete until this is done.
As we transition through the new system, it may seem that you are completing two registrations, and you may question why.  Yes, you are!  The regisitration through Tarragindi's site is predominantly for payments - we are able to offer payment plans, which, at this stage, PlayFootball is unable to do.  The PlayFootball registration is required as it has taken over from MyFootball, Gameday and SportsTG.  All matchsheets will be generated from here, along with statistics, team lists, etc etc, as well as the provision of insurance for players, so, both registrations are compulsory.  Please remember, though, do not make a payment through PlayFootball.

WHEN DO I NEED TO REGISTER BY

TTFC intend to close registrations 2 weeks prior to competition start dates.  This will allow enough time to complete registrations correctly and fully and allow for rectifying errors.

We would appreciate your registration at the earliest possible convenience to help speed up the process and allow easier appointment to teams.

 Age group is based on age of child as at 31 December of the year prior to playing e.g Born 2006, age at 31 December 2018 = 12, plays in U13 for 2019.

While there is some latitude for players to play up a year, history has indicated that it's better for the child to play with a group that has equivalent social and physical development levels.

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF AGE

You only need to provide proof of age if you or your child are new to the club.

You can come along to the signon sessions to show us that proof or you can wait until training starts and we will organise to see them in a group at that point.

Team Allocations

The default position is that teams from last year will be, where possible put together again this year.

However, this is directly affected by who registers and when they register. If you want your team from last year back together, make sure they all register now!

There is a field on the registration form that asks you for your team preference. If you wish to have your child in the same team as a friend, please let us know there, not via an email or phone call

 
Nominating to play in a specific team
  • i.e. with friends is able to be done from Squirts to U11's (geckos & goannas)
  • For U9, U10 & U11 Komodo Dragon teams the grading process will apply. Please refer to the home page for trial dates and times.
